  • The foundation of Telstar Industrial, S.L., to accommodate most of the Telstar S.A. business lines.

  • Establishment of Telstar Projects, S.A., a company dedicated to turnkey projects for the pharmaceutical industry, especially clean rooms and processing facilities; the result of the separation of the business unit that produced clean rooms and its merger with the recently acquired IF (Ingeniería Farmacéutica, S.L.)

  • Creation of Telstar Instrumat, S.L. following the acquisition of Instrumat Técnicas de Medicición, S.A., which was later merged with the division of Telstar S.A. responsible for commercialization of instrumentation

2002 - Celester Technologies, S.L. was created for the design, manufacture and commercialization of sterilization equipment, following the merger of the Telstar Industrial sterilization division with Techifarma.

2004 - Creation of Telstar Far East Co. Ltd. with the objective of manufacturing and commercializing vacuum pumps and laminar flow cabinets.

2005 - Telstar and IMA agreed to join forces through the creation of a 50%-50% joint venture to develop lyophilizers with integrated automatic loading/unloading systems.

2006 - The Dutch company Luwa B.V. specialized in hospital operating rooms was acquired.

2007 - Further expansion of the LifeScience Division due to the continuous growth in the customer demand:

  • The British company ACE (Applied Containment Engineering), was acquired, a leading company in the design and manufacture of biological containment systems and sterile isolators.

  • The joint venture agreement between Telstar and IMA was terminated with Telstar acquiring 100% of the shares and control of the freeze drying business. It becames Telstar Technologies, S.L.

  • Takeover of German company LMC Medical Components, Gmbh, a division of Luwa, GmbH specialising in the design and production of operating theatres, with head offices in Bad Houmburg.

2008 - Creation of a unified corporate identity more in line with Telstar's evolution and diversification in recent years. A corporate identity which transmits what Telstar is today: a leading company with a permanent desire to grow, improve and innovate, capable of adapting to meet the demands of the market.
